A Little History About Us

               Eddie's was founded by Eddie and Winky Johnson in 1947.

                the founding Johnson's retired in 1988 when the couple turned

                over their secret sauce recipe and the keys to the roadside stand

                 to their son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Jose' Johnson, who

                 had worked there for more than 30 years.

                 The third generation joined the business in 1994 when Eddie and

                                               Jose's son Tim and his wife Christy came on board to learn the

                                               trade. Tim and Christy are the parents of the fourth generation

                                               of Johnson's waiting in the wings to operate the stand. 14 year

                                               old daughter Kelsie and 9 year old twins Tori and Trevor.

                                                So what can you expect when you buy a hot dog from Eddie's ?      

                                               Try everything but the kitchen sink.         

                                               you can get mustard (brown or yellow),ketchup,relish,onion's

                                              (ground by hand daily), aged cheddar cheese, sauerkraut and our  

                                               special sauce. you can also get homemade sloppyjoe (joe dog)

                                               or sloppyjoe sandwich. Also you can get french fries now.
